Charley Carson
The barker for Metropolis's new "dime museum" featuring such extraordinary human oddities as an India rubber man, a sword swallower, a fat lady, a fire eater, and a human fly who, in collusion with "shady promoter" Henry Hulbert, attempts to drive the new museum out of business so that Hulbert can seize control of its lease, only to be thwarted and ultimately apprehended by Superman in July 1948 (Act No. 122: "The Super Sideshow!").
