The "Big Guy"
The cunning underworld czar who is the leader of organized crime in Metropolis. His capture, along with that of his henchman, by Superman in July 1955 comes as the culmination of an elaborate ruse—devised by Superman and carried out with the aid of Perry White—in which Clark Kent pretends to have sold out to the underworld and to have embarked on a new career as a safecracker so that he can infiltrate the "Big Guy’s" mob and ultimately take him into custody (S No. 98/2: "Clark Kent Outlaw!").
