Masquerading as [[Ben Crane]] and [[Gary Crane]], Marla and Ultra-Boy pose as recent arrivals to Smallville in order to learn Superboy's secret identity, knowledge of which will guarantee Ultra-Boy Legion membership.  With their mission accomplished , and their identities exposed to Superboy and [[Pete Ross]], Marla and Ultra-Boy return to the 30th Century.  As a parting gift, and as a reward for his loyalty to Superboy, Marla gives Pete Ross a coin that "will serve as a pass to the super-heroes Clubhouse whenever the Legion meets" (SB No. 98/3, Jul 1962: "The Boy with Ultra-Powers!").
