The Planeteer
The Planeteer (Philip Conrad) is a master villain and would-be dictator who believes he is the mighty Alexander the Great himself. He schemes to rob Superman of his power by abducting the world's most important heads of state (S No. 387, Sep 1983: "The Conqueror from the Past!"). Superman manages to free the leaders (including Reagan, Thatcher, Breshnev, and others), but the Planeteer is ultimately successful in increasing his abilities immensely (Act No. 547, Sep 1983: "The Reincarnation of Alexander the Great!").
The Planeteer returns to battle the Man of Tomorrow after teaming with Queen Bee (Act No. 562, Dec 1984: "Their Magnetic Majesties, King Alexander and Queen Bee!").
