The wily press agent for Miracle Movies who concocts an elaborate scheme designed to trick [[Superman]] into starring in an adventure film in the far north without realizing that he is being filmed.  The situation becomes more complicated when "notorious racketeer" [["Bushy" Barnes]] and his henchmen kidnap Allen's film crew and hold them for ransom, but Superman finally apprehends the gangsters and permits the release of Allen's adventure film, entitled ''[[Superman in Valhalla]]'', on the condition that half of its proceeds be earmarked for charity.
