BLISS, ROGER (Mr. and Mrs.)

A Metropolis couple who are the parents of an infant son who acquires temporary super-powers identical to Superman’S as the result of having inadvertently ingested some of the strange “powdery substance” contained inside a group of Kryptonian “condensed food” containers, apparently remnants of the original rocket ship that carried the infant Superman from Krypton to the planet Earth, dug up by Mr. Bliss while searching for Indian relics. Left for a time in Superman’s care, the super-powered infant causes a series of super-problems for the Man of Steel until the baby finally loses his powers and is reunited with his parents in June 1956 (Act No. 217: “The Amazing Super-Baby”).
