The journalist and friend of Superman of Earth-2 who is the colleague of Clark Kent of Earth-2 and his wife, Lois Kent of Earth-2 on the Metropolis Daily Star. Jimmy (or James, as he preferred later in his life), who was dying of an unnamed disease, was saved by his Earth-1 counterpart and his world's version of Superman.
It is unknown if Jimmy was ever married or had any children, and very little is known about his immediate family other than the fact that he was an only child (SF No. 186, Dec 1977: "Save My Friend, Kill Your World! and SF No. 187, Feb 1978: "A Phoenix of Steel!").
