Bud Mack
From superman.nu: Supermanica
The name unwittingly adopted by Superman in the mistaken belief that it is his real name, the result of his having been called "Bud" by some hobos and "Mac" by some baseball players, during a period when, afflicted by temporary amnesia as the result of prolonged exposure to synthetic Kryptonite (see The Fixer), he embarks on a career as the world's greatest pitcher, first for the bush-league Benson City Colts, and finally for the major-league Metropolis Titans (S No. 77, Jul/Aug 1952: "The Greatest Pitcher in the World!").
